Melts are a fragrance alternative to burning oil. Often after burning oil you end up with a greasy residue on the surface around your burner - this won't happen with a melt. To use, simply wipe out the water/oil residue in the top of your burner and place a melt in it. Light your tealight and let the fragrance fill your home. The melt will take the shape of your burner. After the fourth or fifth light, the fragrance will start to diminish. Pop the solid wax out of your burner (if difficult run under hot water to loosen) and discard wax in the bin.
Place another melt in your burner and you're away again.
As our melts produce a very large fragrance throw, you can use them in a areas where a flame isn't appropriate (like a child's bedroom). Simply place on a non-porous surface (like a side plate) and leave on the windowsill. The warmth from the sun will gently release the fragrance without having an open flame - also fantastic in cars too. Please be aware that it is wax, so it will soften and melt with enough heat so please make sure the wax is sitting on/in something that’s easy to clean.
